Active Water Sports – 2014 Evening with the Stars
It was another successful event for Active Water Sport, Evening with the Stars. Customers from all over the North West poured into the shop on Friday, Nov. 21st. to see the greatest boats and product that the industry has to offer. It may have been a cold rainy night but that did not stop the 400+ customers from showing their support.
Upon entering the building, customers were greeted with free stickers, beverages and a chance to support The Brad Smeele Foundation by purchasing raffle tickets to win prizes throughout the night. People were more than willing to participate, resulting in the raffle raising over $2000. Attendees were able to take advantage of sale prices, free food, prizes and autographs from some big industry names like, Danny Harf, Scott Byerly, Oli Derome, Tom Fooshee, Jeff Mckee, and Josh Twelker.
After the event wound down to a close the after party kicked off. Wake enthusiasts packed out the bar across the street to enjoy a movie premier of Prime. It was unbelievable to see so many people so stoked on all that the sport has to offer, not only during the off season, but during such a busy time of the holiday season.
