2019 NAUTIQUE MASTERS WAKEBOARD LCQ HEADS TO ORLANDO WATERSPORTS COMPLEX ON APRIL 27TH
2019 Nautique Masters Wakeboard LCQ Heads to Orlando Watersports Complex on April 27th
ORLANDO, FL (February 25, 2019)– The World Wake Association (The WWA) and Nautique Boats are proud to announce the 2019 Nautique Masters Wakeboard LCQ is headed back to the Orlando Watersports Complex on April 27th behind the 6X Wakeboard Boat of the Year, the Super Air Nautique G23. Pro Men, Pro Women, and Jr. Men riders will compete in a last chance qualifying event for the esteemed opportunity to earn an invitation to the 60th Nautique Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament presented by GM Marine Engine Technology.
Considered among the most prestigious watersports events in the world, the 60th Nautique Masters will serve as stop two of the Nautique Wake Series and WWA Wakeboard World Series. Competing in the Nautique Wake Series LCQ will give athletes the opportunity to qualify for remaining spots at the Nautique Masters and earn ranking points for both the Nautique Wake Series and WWA Wakeboard World Series. The 60th Nautique Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament presented by GM Marine Engine Technology will be held at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia on May 24th– 26th.
All Pro Men, Pro Women, and Jr. Men are encouraged to compete for final chance to attend the most respected event in watersports. A maximum of ten Pro Men, eight Pro Women, and six Jr. Men will be chosen to compete at the 2019 Masters Wakeboard Tournament. There is a possibility that more than one rider could be chosen from the LCQ to fill the remaining slots available based on the winner of the 2019 Nautique Moomba Masters.
“The Nautique Masters LCQ has added such a unique element to the Nautique Masters Wakeboard event, providing a few wildcard spots that make it anyone’s game to snag a spot in the main event. I was lucky enough to grab one of those spots to compete at the 2018 Nautique Masters, an event I longed to compete in ever since I can remember,” commented Jake Pelot. “The experience was everything I had hoped for, and it was truly incredible to be at Callaway Gardens competing alongside the best waterski and wake athletes in such a prestigious setting.”
The Nautique Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament is regarded as the pinnacle of achievement for watersports athletes worldwide. Each year, the legendary waters of Robin Lake play host to some of our sports defining moments, combining the energy of the crowd and the massive wake behind the Super Air Nautique G23 to push the world’s best riders to their peak performances.
