Liquid Force The Bullox Aero 140Boat Icon

MSRP: $699
BUY NOW

The Bullox Aero features a 3-stage rocker that provides an aggressive pop making going big easier. As is traditional with 3-stage boards, the big pop comes at the cost of being a bit slower on top of the water. Similar to the other top of line boards in the LF lineup the Bullox features the popular Aero Core, which we have verified to be one of the lightest board constructions on the market. This board also comes in the original PU construction for a slightly different feel and lower price. Under the board are 4 molded fins along with a squared off tip and tail that really helped maintain your edge all the way through the wake. The Bullox performed flawlessly in our testing, and is perfect for anyone looking for a solid 3-stage rocker shape with a loud presentation.

Liquid Force ME Aero 138Boat Icon

MSRP: $699
BUY NOW

The Liquid Force ME now features the popular Aero Core. If you aren’t aware of Liquid Forces Aero Core, it’s simply the lightest core you are going to find on the market for 2022. What sets the M.E. apart from the other Aero Core boards is that the design makes it much more broadly appealing and offers advantages for even beginner level riders, while still providing the features needed for the elite level. This board has a progressive 3-stage rocker as well as a series of concaves on the bottom of the board which makes it fast and easy to ride. In the belly of the M.E is a mellow spine running tip to tail which softens landings. This design may be Meagan’s pro model, but this board is certainly not gender specific.

Liquid Force Unity Aero 139

MSRP: $729

With the introduction of the Unity Aero also comes Liquid Force’s new “Space Frame Deck”. This technology is supposed to add onto the popular Aero Core by increasing structural rigidity while reducing unnecessary material. In our testing we did find that this new structure gave you some extra confidence in the board’s durability – whether this was placebo or not is something that only time will tell. The Unity also features a continuous rocker which makes the board quick across the water. To balance having such a lightweight and quick board, Liquid Force also added dual concaves to the center hull, quad concave tips and quad molded fins for stability. We found that this combination made the board extremely effortless turning edge to edge but still was able to lock in when needed.

Liquid Force Apex 142

MSRP: $459

At only 17 Loic has already managed to snag a WWA Cable Championship as well as capture some attention on social media for his blend of competitive moves and unique style. Loic is truly a Swiss Army knife of a rider – he makes the rails look stylish while still owning kickers and air tricks. That being said, much like Loic, the Apex was made to do it all. Don’t let the smaller sizes fool you, this board still provides flexibility on the rails but does not comprise in the landing department. This board paired with Liquid Force’s lifted rail system will help you progress your riding on the cable in whatever facet you wish to pursue while also giving you some added forgiveness while learning.

Liquid Force Illusion 147

MSRP: $579
BUY NOW

Liquid Force introduced another new board into the fold for 2022 and we think it’s safe to say it’s going to turn some heads. The appropriately named “Illusion” has a unique graphic that is somehow loud and subtle at the same moment. This board also boast’s liquid force’s “Just The Tip Technology” which simply explained is the removal of unnecessary core in the tip and tail to reduce swing weight and ideally make the board be more responsive. At first glance we had some concerns regarding the ollie power of this board given this feature, but the Illusion ended up delivering yet again with no issues on the ollie front. The Illusion is also equipped with lifted rails and flex tracks making this board a true representation of innovation in the cable wakeboard market.

Liquid Force Tao 150

MSRP: $579
BUY NOW

Daniel Grant’s TAO line up is not only a staple for Liquid Force, but also for the industry as a whole. Despite being an above average board in the length department it is relatively narrow edge to edge, which allows the board to ride deceptively agile in comparison to its length. Another aspect that makes the TAO unique is its 3-stage rocker. We found this 3-stage rocker to be not as aggressive as the typical 3-stage, meaning it didn’t drag on the water or hold us up but did allow for a bit more stability. Simply put the board felt more balanced on the water. When it comes to finding an indestructible board that can do it all, DG and the team at Liquid Force have done it with the Liquid Force Tao.
