Nautique Boats Announces the 2019 Nautique Wakesurf Series Towed Exclusively Behind the Super Air Nautique G23

Holding true to the reputation of always putting athletes first, Nautique Boats and The World Wake Association (WWA) are excited to announce the 2019 Nautique Wakesurf Series. Dedicated to progressing the sport for years to come, the Nautique Wakesurf Series will build on the monumental efforts of the 2018 Nautique U.S. National Wakesurf Championships, providing innovative formats for competition across the globe in a fun-filled environment. 

 “We love wakesurfing for the family-friendly and inclusive vibe it creates, and we are looking forward to facilitating the competitive progression with the new Nautique Wakesurf Series,” stated Nautique President, Greg Meloon. “When we introduced the Nautique Wake Series back in 2014, we recognized that professional and amateur athletes competing at the same venue would rapidly progress the sport of wakeboarding at every competitive level. Building on this experience with the WWA, the Wakesurf Series that will allow wakesurfing the same opportunities for growth at all levels while providing a premium experience for the participants.”  

The 2019 Nautique Wakesurf Series will be comprised of six of the world’s most prestigious wakesurf events spanning across three continents and providing the world’s top amateur and professional athletes a chance to define themselves as the sport’s elite. The 2019 season will kick off in London, England for the Nautique European Wakesurf Championships. Stop two will bring riders to the beautiful Alberta, Canada for the Nautique Canadian Wakesurf Nationals.   

The impressive 2019 line-up will continue with stop three taking place at the Konakovo River Club in Moscow, Russia for the Konakovo Wakesurf Championships. Continuing their trek across the globe to capture the overall Nautique Wakesurf Series title, riders will head to Seoul, Korea for the Nautique Asian Wakesurf Championships. Riders will have the opportunity to once again head to BSR in Waco, Texas for the Nautique U.S. National Wakesurf Championships, presented by GM Marine Engine Technology. The sixth and final stop will take us to the world’s most prestigious waters of Callaway Gardens for the Inaugural Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championships.  

The Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championships will be a premier invitational event, serving as the culminating event of the Nautique Wakesurf Series. Winners at each stop of the series will automatically secure their invite to the crowning jewel event of the season, the Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championships. Additional riders will have the opportunity to earn an invite through the Wakesurf World Rankings. The Nautique Wakesurf Series will provide the pinnacle of wakesurf competition, creating a global platform for athletes to come to define themselves as the sport’s elite with six stops spanning across the globe.
