ORLANDO, FLA.
(May 10, 2006) —The first stop of the Pro Wakeboard Tour was held May 4-
7, in Acworth, Georgia, on Lake Allatoona. Team Nautique riders J.D. Webb, Melissa Marquardt
and Lauren Loe competed in the event and earned positions on the podium.  
 
In the men’s wakeboarding competition, Webb defeated Jeff Weatherall and Tino Santori in the
quarter and semi finals. In the finals, Webb went head-to-head against Andrew Adkison,
finishing second.
 
In the women’s wakeboarding event, Marquardt locked up second place with a score of 52.67
while teammate Loe finished third with 50 points.   
 
“We’re extremely happy with the performance of all of our athletes,” said team manager Brian
Sullivan. “As the season progresses I know we’ll see even more wins. This was a great start.”
