Our friend and fellow wakesurf shaper Jeff Wahlers from Soulcraft launched a new website this week and we encourage everyone to click over and take a look.  All of the Soulcraft Boards are available for sale in the slayshTank Online Store.

Here is a little more about Jeff and Soulcraft.

While growing up in Southern California, I was introduced to surfing at a young age. One of my first jobs was doing ding repair for a surfboard factory where I made $20 a day, which was enough for me to eat and surf the rest of the day. After doing ding repairs for three years, I moved up in the world and became a production sander for some of the top glassing factories in North San Diego County. I’ve had the opportunity to help build boards for some of the top surfboard companies in the world, such as Rusty, Channel Islands, Lost, Donald Takayama, and Gary Linden just to name a few. I got my influence to start shaping after years of being around the world’s top shapers, and was lucky enough to have some of them give me direction and guidance. In 2000, I shaped my first board, which was a 6’8” single fin pintail that I still have. From that first board, my passion for board building grew. After moving to Boise Idaho in 2008, I was introduced to wake surfing, which was the perfect way to continue my passion for surfing and board building. In 2009, Soulcraft Boarding was created, and I began building custom wake surfboards and standup paddleboards. Soulcraft has evolved in the world of wake surfing, and now we are in the process of introducing stationary wave river boards to our lineup. I take much pride in not being a salesman, but a surfer and passionate board builder. With that, we’re committed to producing the highest performance, best quality boards available that are hand built in the USA.
