Check out some highlights from our 2018 May Issue of Alliance Wake!

The National Steamboat Monument next to the Cincinnati Reds stadium is a pretty well known spot in the Queen City. Right off the Ohio River, it’s a prime area for a wakeboarder when the water rises a bit high. Guenther Oka is no stranger to winching and when he heard that his hometown was getting insane amounts of rain, he took action and made it up there to take advantage of the situation. This is just one of the many spots that Guenther handled with ease up in Winch Heaven! (photo: Mathis)

Every so often, an opportunity arises that you can’t pass up no matter what. That was the case on this trip for Guenther Oka. Originally from Cincinnati, Guenther grew up seeing all the potential for winch spots downtown but never thinking he’d ever be able to hit them. Well, this past February that all changed when Cincy had record breaking amounts of rain which brought the Ohio River well above its normal level.

Tired of looking at photos on Instagram? Good, because the Framed section is here to show you that photos look better in print! With some rad images from the central hub of wake in Orlando to Argentina to Australia, there’s plenty to feast your eyes on!
