Christmas is over and 2012 has officially kicked off with the tradition of some almighty show-waking! Industry Wake Parks have once again teamed up with the London Boat Show to host daily demo’s of wakeboarding, alongside brands like Jobe, Hyperlite, Aesthetic, Liquid Force and CTRL who have their new 2012 gear on show. It all opened to the public yesterday and the first rounds of demo’s went down to huge receptions from the crowds. Hundred’s of people watched each of the three daily-shows by Jonty Green, Dan Nott, Lee Debuse, CK Koester and show-waking rookie, James Young.

The format is a simple one that demonstrates different styles or riding and the tricks you can do, it works great for the crowd as a lot of them are new to the sport, and straight after watching the show’s these people are signing up to the free ‘Have-A-Go’ lessons that Industry and Loch Lomond Wakeboarding are offering in the pool on the System 2.0
The show is on all week finishing next sunday, so there is plenty of time for you to head along and see it all. If you can, then make sure to be there on Thursday night, as there is an invitational Pro Contest with £1000 up for grabs, and with the best riders from all over the UK in attendance as well as wakeskating and more, it will be one hell of a night.
Check back tomorrow for a video of what’s going on at the show, and in the meantime check out their site here.
