for the past 11 weeks I have been doing clip of the week and it definitely has been going quite strong. But of course as we get deeper into winter it gets harder for everyone to get out riding and shooting. Therefore I have been suffering a bit from the lack of submissions although I have been quite lucky recently with some gnarly shots/tricks.
I am urging anyone reading this to please show me what you got wheather its behind the ski, winching boat or cable, don't be scared to submit, I am open to see what you got.
BUT, just as a bit of a filter the main things we DO worry about with submissions are:
1) No Hand Drags, the trick doesn't have to be crazy, it could be a real clean flip trick behind the boat or ski, but cleanliness is a factor
2) Smooth and Creative Shots. A shot from behind the boat or jet-ski could make the cut if it's smooth. But try and get funky behind the lens, pan shots are always cool, we don't need any crazy dolly or boom shots (unless you got 'em) but if you are filming from far or you just got a shaky hand like me then set up that tripod, the tripod is my best friend for shooting unless it's inaccessible. But you don't gotta be the next Justin Stephens or anything, just a guy (or girl) with a camera.
So whatever you got in your shot banks hit me up I'd be more than happy to check it out. Email it to clipoftheweek@alliancewake.com
