Breach (Jobe): 143

  • Landing: 7
  • Swing Weight: 8

The Jobe Breach is a wood/foam core board with aggressive tracking channels that run tip to tail with another set that run parallel on the edges of the board through just the belly. This makes the Jobe Breach track really well through the water but still allow for getting loose when you want it to. Along with this board’s ability to track well, it is also relatively fast through the water with minimal drag despite its 3 stage rocker. Having the three stage rocker provided solid pop with smooth landings to back it up. This board also has a thinner profile and is very light overall allowing for very little swing weight to make any tricks in the air feel great.

Maddox (Jobe) 143:

  • Tracking: 5
  • Speed: 6
  • Pop: 8
  • Landing: 7.5
  • Swing Weight: 5.5

The Jobe Maddox is Jobe’s “competitive wakeboard” designed for performance riding behind the boat. When it comes to getting a solid pop and landing well, this board sure does perform. The 3 stage rocker on the Maddox offers some serious pop while still keeping everything consistent and smooth. The landings were also very solid especially considering how aggressive this three stage rocker is. However this board is a bit heavier, meaning that you can feel it under your feet in the air especially on spins, but if a heavier ride is up your alley this may be the perfect choice.

Knox Limited (Jobe): 143

  • Tracking: 6
  • Speed: 8
  • Pop: 7
  • Landing: 7.5
  • Swing Weight: 8

The Jobe Knox is a hybrid board equipped with an aggressive 3 stage rocker. In the case of our review we tested it on the boat exculsivley and it certainly held its own. The Knox was a bit looser than expected considering its deep channels but it made up for that loose feel with good speed on the water. This board also allowed for pretty effortless spins as well thanks to its lightweight wood/foam core. Even the pop off the wake was very consistent and the landings were there to back it up comfortably. All in all the Knox is a solid board that can certainly provide a good time on the water.
